Named after a bridge at the entrance of Jerusalem, designed by Santiago Calitrava, which as is always the case with the artsy work of internationally known stars of architecture, is either loved or hated. The bridge (Hebrew: גשר המיתרים‎, Gesher HaMeitarim), is a cantilever spar cable-stayed bridge. Also called "the Bridges of Chords," and "what's it doing there?"

All death and suffering inflicted in the name of evil, for evil purposes, by evil men is equally tragic, and equally worthy of remembrance. The reason that the Sho'ah, or Holocaust as it is known in English, is so central to the Nation of Israel scattered around the world or back home in the Land, is that it was an attempt at exterminating an entire nation, murder by murder. It was the aim of Hitler and his legions to wipe the Children of Israel from off the face of the earth. This destruction or the persecution of Israel has been the express policy of a number of nations in various eras, past and present. Egypt, Philistia, Mo'av, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Rome, Russia, Germany to name the most well-known. The tide of history has turned, and Israel is returning home in force. A majority of Jewish people now live in Israel again, after 2000 years. Israel is, however, a pariah nation to this world. It is condemned falsely on the floor of the United Nations, and in congresses and parliaments around the world, while brutal dictatorships, oligarchies, and exclusivist party regimes cause immense suffering arouond the world. When next one considers, are the people of Israel wrong to keep the memory of the Sho'ah so alive, ask yourself if the spirit of evil that imbued Naziism is really and truly dead and buried, or is it in fact alive and well, biding its time. There can be no casual or flippant or ill-informed reply to such a question.

A slow air I was playing without repeats as an intro to the 2/4 march, The 91st Galilee Armoured Division, since it commemorates a huge Galilean territorial unit of the Israeli army. Here the slow air is by itself. I lived in the interior of the Galilee for nearly a quarter-century, and the quiet hills are a great source of comfort to me until now, though I am living on the Galilee coast these days.

This tune also honours the dead soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces who have given their lives in this region, and in the brigades and batallions of the 91st Division. Jewish soldiers, Arab soldiers, and even some Christian soldiers who died guarding the Land of Israel in the province of Galilee, in the uniform of the IDF.
