Let's build on our history. Promote American diversity, history, culture, tourism and freedom using Florida's state song. Swanee River once started a major tourist movement to Florida. Florida Music Hall of Fame'r, Ray Charles' version, Swanee River Rock can do so again. Benjamin Franklin, the First American, inventor and statesman led the American abolitionist movement. After Ben 'Jamin Franklin's appearances at the Florida Capitol, the legislature voted to keep our state song.
